My hand sewn thesis shirt is made from handwoven Indian cotton purchased in London and stitched with linen thread. The pattern is based on instructions from the book Tidings from the 18th Century by Beth Gilgun. The bosom ruffle is trimmed with my handmade bobbin lace. The collar and cuffs have handmade thread buttons based on a tutorial by Hannah Stoppel.
